Results
A 12 week, placebo controlled pilot trial of pramipexole augmentation of antipsychotic treatment was conducted in 24 patients with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. Pramipexole treated patients had significantly greater changes in PANSS-total and PANSS-positive subscale scores but not PANSS-negative subscale scores. Pramipexole was considered to be well tolerated.
