Results
Ninety patients with schizophrenia were randomized to receive Sarsarspogenin or placebo given adjunctively to risperidone. Sarsarspogenin (a traditional chinese medicine) was not associated with improvement in psychiatric symptoms or cognitive measures after 8 weeks of treatment.
