Results
Data from 90 patients were used for the analysis. Patients receiving lithium and those receiving lamotrigine both showed a significant improvement in ratings of depression compared to baseline, but there was no significant difference between the two drugs. (Two site study for Dr. Suppes (02T-158: UTSouthwestern Medical Center) and Dr. Marangell (02T-152: Baylor College of Medicine)).
