Results
Twenty-eight patients with schizophrenia and 32 normal controls were enrolled. Nicotine significantly improved performance on the Continuous Performance Task in both groups. Some aspects of the Continuous Performance Task improved to a greater extent in patients with schizophrenia than in controls.
