Results
120 unipolar and bipolar participants were randomized to receive either bifrontal active tDCS of 2.5mAor sham tDCS of 1mA over 20 consecutive weekdays. There was no difference between the active and sham treatment groups for the sample as a whole, and for the unipolar group. However, in the bipolar group, the sham group significantly improved more than the active treatment group.
