Results
This 2x2 study in Karachi, Pakistan, recruited 302 schizhoprenic patients, stabilized on anti-psychotic medication. Seventy-eight patients were randomized to add-on simvastatin and ondansetron, 73 to ondansetron, 76 to simvastatin and 74 to placebo. No significant changes in PANSS negative, positive and total scores were observed.
