Inferior Parietal Collection
The inferior parietal collection consisting of 48 brains; 24 each schizophrenia and matched controls. The inferior parietal lobule consists of the supramarginal gyrus (BA 40) and angular gyrus (BA 39) and is connected to many brain regions including prefrontal cortex, temporal cortex and thalamic pulvinar. A background paper on the IPL is available: Torrey EF, Essay writing service, Schizophrenia and the interior parietal lobule, Schizophr Res, 2007;97:215-225.
